The Hunter's Hope Foundation was established in September1997 by Hall of Fame member and former Buffalo Bills Quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife Jill after their infant son was diagnosed with Krabbe disease (Globoid-Cell Leukodystrophy).
Hunter's Hope is our life-long commitment to increase public awareness of Krabbe and other leukodystrophies, so that other children may have early detection and treatment. Our ultimate goal is to help raise funds to support research efforts to find a cure for Krabbe and other leukodystrophies. |
